Are you a Kimberley woman with knowledge of bush foods, plants, or botanicals — and a dream of building something from it?
This program is for you.
Maganda Makers is delivering a series of free workshops and online sessions across the Kimberley, supporting Aboriginal women to turn their cultural knowledge into thriving businesses.
What you get access to:
• Face-to-face workshops in your region — Broome, Derby, Halls Creek, and Kununurra
• Online capability sessions you can join from anywhere
• Practical training in plant knowledge, harvesting, and product creation
• Business fundamentals — pricing, costs, selling, and keeping records
• Understanding your rights — Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP)
• One-on-one mentoring and enterprise support
• Connections to a growing network of Kimberley women in business
• Pathways to infrastructure, supply chains, and markets
This program is free, culturally safe, and designed by and for Kimberley women.

Join us for
We are running a series of free workshops supporting Kimberley Indigenous women to explore opportunities in the bush foods and botanicals industry.
You'll get to hear from wonderful presenters - most of whom are Maganda Makers - and will learn about business basics, branding, marketing, harvesting, ICIP, and local initiatives that are happening across the Kimberley.
Face-to-face Workshops will be held in Broome, Derby, Halls Creek, and Kununurra. Online workshops will be held in August for those who are unable to attend one of the workshops above in person.
